Any chance of getting into pre-med?

Hello! I’m a high school sophomore. I took the SAT test in December of 2015 and got a 2280 and the SAT Bio test and got a 780. I’m currently studying to take the SAT Chem and Math IIC tests this May and June. I am a Red Cross officer at my school and volunteer at St. Jude’s and my county’s philharmonic. My dream school is Johns Hopkins. What are my chances of getting in if I retain a 4.0 GPA?

I would think that a 2280 SAT and 4 GPA would be good stats to be accepted at JHU.

But is it affordable (with med school plans in future)?

Does it have a collaborative or competitive environment for pre-med students?

Any state school is good for studying biology, chemistry, premed requirements.

JHU would still be a low reach at 4.0/2280, as it is for everyone. As a sophomore, you still have plenty of time to look at more colleges, and it’s most important is to find fit by asking questions like those suggested by mommdc.
