Uh...it's kinda pathetic for me to post this thread now, only about two minutes after I clicked the "submit" button on one of my scholarship applications. There was no way for applicants to preview before submitting, so after cutting and pasting my essay in the online box and reading them through once, I submitted it. Then I received the email confirming that I've submitted my application and suddenly found that all the apostrophes"ation marks in my essay turned into unreadable quotes. I didn't use a lot of them but still, they don't look good. So what should I do? Sit and pray that those garbage characters won't matter or email the scholarship office and explain? Help....

Guys plz come and help me. I’ll be online waiting for ur responses.

Bummmmmmmp?

You are probably far from the first applicant to have suffered from an encoding issue. It’s going to be okay, and let it go. This is probably a common enough issue that they will understand what the symbol string means.
