Any chance?

Hey, I’m a caucasian girl from Mass. I just was wondering if there’s any chance I could get into Wharton.

SAT: M 780
V 670
W 650 - will go up to at least 700 this time
Next time ill get both the verbal and writing up above 700

SAT 2 - 740 and 730

top 4 % of good public school
Solid recs and Essays

Gymnastics is my thing. I’ve been captain two years and have led the team to the best showing in school history. I was All-Scholastic my freshman year and then broke my back, but am still a league all-star and might make senior national team next year. I also do club outside of school year-round and have for the past 10 years.

Outside of gymnastics, I do school track to stay in shape, Math Team, Environmental Club, and I am the business editor of the yearbook, in charge of all fundraising and finanical aspect.

Also was a National Merit Commended Scholar and in a few writing competitions. I was on prom court if thats anything?

I know that for most people that apply this would seem completely average, but penn is my dream school and im applying ED. Any advice?

I am sorry that I can't be more helpful than I am, but I just wanted to say that though I have no connection to the university except that I want to go there too (lol) personally I think you definitely have a shot.

I live in Mass too and I also do gymnastics...so I have probably seen you at high school state individuals or maybe even a club meet depending on where you do club. Are you looking to do varsity gymnastics at Penn? I am probably not because I'm only leven 9 and I don't think I'm really good enough... but yeah...I'll probably be competing with you this winter so good luck with your season!!

Good luck with your application process. I'm applying ED also...so here's to hopefully being future classmates!

sorry I couldn't be more helpful... I just saw your post and really wanted to comment :-P
