<p>Hi everyone I'm new to the boards here. I was wondering if there is anyone here who is pursuing or considering to pursue a career in Criminology? I am currently an undergraduate student in New York and have been accepted to a graduate program in Criminology at St. John's. Any opinions, experiences, or current paths of any fellow Crim students?</p>

<p>Hi! I’m an undergraduate Criminology student at the University of Florida. (Originally from NY) Criminology definitely can lead to many different fields from what I have learned, but many students here usually major in it as preparation for Pre Law. Alot of the research within Criminology/Sociology can be very interesting(eyewitness testimony is very intriguing in my opinion), and fun if that’s something your interested in. Some people go into private security, or law enforcement and with a degree in Criminology may be one of the people earlier up the line to get promoted. </p>
<p>What are your career goals, and what do you hope to gain from a master’s or Ph.D in Criminology?</p>
