I don't feel like studying for every possible essay topic that might be on the
test tomorrow. So any suggestion?

are regents that hard? I thought state exams were like nothing. SOLs are jokes in VA.

they're way easy, especially after AP, but i'd also like to hear some predictions.

Questions are usually like this:

"Regents Question: Life is full of choices. Some difficult. Some easy. Pick 2 choices a president has had to make and explain the reasons for the choice and the effects. Include a detailed explanation of the choice itself. You may consider the following: (bunch of choices)"

lol

no (and I took the apush) but I just want to refresh my memory..
My teacher said it would be something about election. What do you guys think about it?

takinnng it tomorrow too! idk, i'm kind of nervous because i haven't done crap all year--but wtvr

hahahaha. english5, i love you.

I dunno about what your teachers told you guys, but my US hist. teacher adviced us to study for Supreme Court Cases, he's not 100% accurate, ofcourse, but he has been quite successful at guessing some topics for tests and exams.

ary, how does ur teacher know the essay topic will be on elections?
Can u be more specific?
Im gonna needa cram this stuff quick...

More predictions,,

The winner should get a prize

I think "elections" is too specific a topic for the regents. Nonetheless Key elections (key because of the issues surrounding them) would be 1800 (TJ), 1828(AJ), 1860(AL), 1876(RH), 1900(WM->TR), 1920(WH), 1932 (FDR), 1972 (RN), 2000 (GWB)

My teacher didn't say anything specific. Sorry..
But what she said was that usually in the election year, the essay topic is about election. When I told my friend about it (she guessed the topic essay right for the global regents), she just laughed and said theres no way it's going to be on that. Anyway, my friend predicted that the essay topic would be either court cases or expansion..

its gonna be on ither court cases, reforms, civil rights, suffrage, and expansion. To me there is nothing else they can give..

let's hope its just court cases
