Any experience/advice with Villanova, Lafayette, Gettysburg, or Skidmore?

I'm trying to narrow down my matches: Villanova (I'm pretty sure I'll apply there), Lafayette, Gettysburg, and Skidmore. I know all of their basic stats, but if you could contribute any experiences or pros or cons about even one of these schools, that would be wonderful (: I will go in undecided, but I'm really interested in physics, so if any of these schools has a terrible physics or mathematics program, let me know haha.
Thank you!

Villanova is my 1st choice, i took a campus visit, its beautiful, has a very good business and engineering program, most freshman live on south campus, its semi secluded from the rest of campus but you are with all of your classmates, with a 5-10 minutes walk away from main campus.

If you think you are going to be interested in the sciences, like physics, I would also recommend Villanova. Lafayette is a great choice if you want to go the LAC route. If you want a little bit of a bigger school with the D1 Athletics, etc., go Villanova. If you want a smaller school with smaller classes and the broad exposure that an LAC would provide (especially if you are an undecided major) than I would strongly consider Lafayette.

really great advice from both of you, thank you! (:

alright the only one I know a good amount about is Villanova because I visited. It is located in the philly suburbs in a pretty good location. You can take a train ride into the city which some students do on the weekends (takes about 20min or so). It has a really nice campus, gothic architecture, etc. It is a religious institution and there is a chapel on campus (located in the center… many people think the campus revolves around it lol). About 1/3 of students go Greek. It is a very well rounded good school academically. Freshman dorms are not great IMO, but many people like them. They are in their own little corner away from the main campus. The dorms for juniors are also in their own little area. Most people move off campus senior year. I believe housing is only guaranteed for 3 years. It is a very big sports school, especially basketball. There is lots of school spirit, the students like to party. That’s about all I can think of at the moment lol.

I would have to say Skidmore is a real up-and-coming college. It is getting harder and harder to get into every year! ( But isn’t every college? :/) But it is in a pretty neat town that is not too small, not too large, and the teachers are absolutely phenomenal.

Bucknell and Holy Cross are similar.
