I'm not sure which piece I want to learn next. All four of them sound great, but the Beethoven ones are more difficult, with the Haydn sonata being the easiest. I'd learn them all at once but I don't have that much practice time available per day, haha.

I! I suck, so I won’t tell you guys what songs I play. I just visited my friend who lives in Michigan who’s amazing; she was playing la Campanella by Listz (aka 6 Etudes d’ex

wow estrat1, you’re making a jump from Rondo Alla Turca to Pathetique? and pyroza- go with pathetique, it took me some time (not too much) but it sounds great up to speed

I used to play, but quit because I was tired of my parents forcing me to play…I’d love to pick it back up again in college, I was just about getting good too. My ear sucked, I could sight read very well though, I always needed to music in front of me to be able to play.

I used to play classical too. OP, I’d go for the easiest piece :). It should be noted that I quit because I was sick of being forced to play and I couldn’t stand being forced to memorize line after line.

Now I play a ton, like half an hour a day (which is more than I ever spent doing classical) just improvising and occasionally playing some tunes by ear. Like Taylor Swift- love it :P. I compose now too! And I love not being forced to do any of it.

Malibu- you should start again. It’s so much better when teachers/parents aren’t putting pressure on you.

I play classical…right now I’m working on Debussy Estampes, La Campanella, 2 Chopin etudes, Mozart sonata, and a Prelude and Fugue, but I always have trouble findingg enough time to practice with school and clubs and stuff…:(

I think the Pathetique is a really fun song to play, and it’s really worthwhile and beautiful too.
