Are there any home-schooled students got admitted to UCLA or other UC campuses this year 2019 ? or any years before ?
I assume you’re homeschooled and the thought of going to a big university like UCLA can be a bit intimidating. I wasn’t home schooled but know that everyone at UCLA is very nice and you’ll meet tons of people in the dorms, classes, clubs, or other student organizations. Orientation is also a great place to meet people. Literally all of first quarter people are gonna be meeting hundreds of other Bruins.
@10s4life Thank you for your reply and comment! I am alumni of UCLA and most of my classes hold at the Boelter Hall and Math Science Building few decades ago, I love UCLA and my homeschooled D would like to attend the UCLA as well. She took one summer course at UCLA last year and she loves the UCLA campus environment, students, staff and faculty there. So, I would like to know if any chance for homeschooler to get admitted to the UCLA ? Any record or some homeschooler get admitted to the UCLA ? GO BRUINS!
Hi @HOPE888! I have been homeschooled since Kindergarten and was just accepted to UCLA, UCSD, and UCI! So as long as you find a way to meet the A-G requirements, it is definitely possible for homeschoolers to be accepted!
@collegiate2019 Congratulations to you for being admitted to UCLA, UCSD and UCI! As a homeschooler, you have done a big achievement!
- Do you mind to share your stats such as what kind of APs you have submitted and its scores, what kind of community courses taken ?
- How do you fulfill the A-G requirements especially the “Geometry” course since there is no SAT Subject test for Geometry?
- What major did you apply to UCLA ? School of Engineering or College of Letter of Sciences ?
Looking forward to receiving your valuable inputs. Thank you!
