Any homeschoolers that have gotten into Davidson?

Does anyone here know any homeschoolers that have gotten accepted at Davidson? I have read enough online to believe there is a real bias there. I just wondered if anyone knew of any homeschoolers that have been accepted? We went on an admissions tour and in the office they had a book that listed all their current students and the high schools they graduated from. They had a page for homeschoolers and there were two there- both seniors. So, it didn't look like a homeschooler had enrolled in the last 3 years.

I'd love to here if anyone knows a homeschooler that was accepted and if there was a special circumstance (such as the accepted applicant was a recruited athlete).

Also, any suggestions for schools similar to Davidson that are more homeschool friendly? My son did decide that he wants a school similar to Davidson.

Thanks.

Hm, my son was being recruited by them pretty heavily, but he never did apply, so I don’t have personal experience. Sorry!

My daughter is a homeschooler who is looking at Davidson. We have them down further on the list only because of the PE requirements. My daughter doesn’t want to give any time to required classes that don’t serve her needs, so she really dislikes the PE part - just not pertinent to her goals.
Anyway, others on her list may interest him… not sure how much like Davidson they are, but they are somewhat similar in the areas she’s most concerned about: serious students, not excessive partying, neither extremely liberal or conservative to the point of requiring chapel, etc (again with the requirements! lol) Here are a few:
Rhodes
Centre
Vanderbilt
Franklin and Marshall
Lafayette
Hillsdale
St. John’s (Annapolis)
