Any hope?

I just took a prep test from the LSAT Super Prep Book and scored about a 153 per their converter. I got 64 questions right. I have only studied the logic games bible from powerscore once. I really need to go over the grouping section again- as I seem to struggle there.

I did the test under timed conditions- 35 minutes per section. Would I be able to conclude that this is a relatively decent picture of how I might do on a real test- and if so, is it possible over the next 45 days to increase my score to a 163 or so??

Any insight would be appreciated

depends on your breakdown by section. if you have alot of room to improve in logic games (say like 10 wrong there) i think you can make it up. that is the easiest section to improve.

You’d get something in the 160’s range.

Generally, you get 10 points more than you did on your last super prep book.

Don’t worry bro, you got it covered.

Did you take the test cold (as in, no prep before hand) or have you been prepping? If you took the test cold then you will definitley improve if you study. If you have been prepping and have taken other practice tests, then you probably need to re-evaluate your study techniques (maybe consider a prep course and a later test date). As others mentioned, some sections are generally easier to “learn” than others. Logic games normally see the most improvement through study, while Reading Comp sees the least. At any rate, 45 days really isn’t very long to study, and if you’re applying next cycle you can easily take the test in the fall after using the next few months to fully prep.

Also, no disrespect to Precog, but as an LSAT instructor and law school student I can tell you that the vast majority of people score a few points LESS on test day than on practice exams. Even if a student gets lucky, or is REALLY on during the real test, a 10 point increase without additional prep would be almost unheard of.

I’m guessing Precognition meant your first practice lsat not your last. Because your right ten points increasing after studying for awhile and taking the last practice test to the real lsat would probably not happen.

Cal- I only went through the logic games bible once- no other prep work. It was my first prep- and I did it under timed conditions. Plus my dogs were making noise, so there was a little distraction, but the reading issue was i ran out of time and just had to fill in like 8 questions. So I need to get faster. Well I have scheduled for October too, and if I do not do as well as I need to this go around I will take it in October.

I have more preps from LSAC I’ll be taking, and 8 individual tests too. From my understanding, and maybe I am wrong- these preps are actual prior tests?

The 8 individual tests I purchased are recent tests

Thanks guys for the answers
