Any ideas on where to go? Opinions?

Hi guys I was accepted to alot of the colleges that i applied to and I dont know which one I like the best would you guys have any opinions? Knowledge of the school? Knowledge of name recognition when applying for future jobs?...I'm looking to either be a civil or mechanical engineer

Vanderbilt
Lehigh
Bucknell
Purdue
Northeastern
Virginia Tech
Northwestern

When I visited Northeastern, it was very cozy, kind of run down but in a nice, leather chair kind of way. It was kind of quiet but kind of busy depending on where you were on campus. Boston is a really nice town, I enjoyed it alot. Expensive as hell, but nice.

I was in Purdue for a church thing a couple summers ago. I didn't like it as much because I was stuck in one of the dorms that didn't have air conditioning or anything. The campus is pretty though.

These schools are all over the place, geographically, costwise, etc. Vanderbilt and Northwestern are the biggest names. Northeastern has the coop program, and the killer location. Purdue or VA Tech may be cheapest, if you are instate, but they are large public schools. Lehigh, Bucknell, and Va Tech are not in or near big cities. I would concentrate on Vanderbilt, Northwestern, and Northeastern. Lehigh has quite a reputation in engineering, though.

well ya VT and Purdue are my least favorite cuz theyre so big i just included them in the list to see if one had something that was REALLY big and important that i was missing.....i honestly dont care about the location and besides VT and Purdue with aid and when all is said and done they are close enough in price that when i make my decision the difference will be neglible......haha im so indecsive!!!!!

Northwestern for sure! Best overall school with the best engineering.

well no offense or anytihng and im not trying to be needy but isnt the point of a forum to discuss and not make unsupported claims? haha.....if you think it is the best why? this is such a big decision and its VERY hard for someone as indecisive as me :(
