My s is a sophomore who is very interested in a career in art. He had been talking about smaller schools along the east coast, but happened to see that UF had a major in digital media and has a strong affiliation with their computer science dept. He kind of surpised me today by saying he would like to look more into the University of Florida. He said he would like to visit the campus this summer while we are close by for a family vacation. I am a bit put off by the school's size, but I told him I would ask all of you about the school's strengths in art or digital arts. This may seem like a naive question, but do their graduates have any advantage with the entertainment/animation industry being they are close to Disney? Any information anyone has would be greatly appreciated!
