i was just wondering after seeing the international post on Gtown, whether ND has any international applicants? If there are whether they were accepted EA or not? Another issue i have in mind is, if international applicants are accepted how are they goin to afford the cost of attending American institution, because i believe most of them dont offer any aid.

I remember seeing a few from India...I think at least.

HI! I am an international UND applicant. I am from Germany. Affording a ND education is definitely hard since internationals do not receive aid! Too bad!

I'm "international" (from Hong Kong) but I have a green card, so I was fortunately able to get financial aid.

JG_Ivy: You're applying from Germany?! That's so awesome and cool! How much does higher education cost in Germany? I've always been curious about college rates overseas.

Oh man. I know so many internationals here. In my dorm section alone there are: 2 Bolivians, 1 Korean, 1 Hong Kong

I know many people from: El Salvador, Honduras, Mexico, Bolivia, Brazil, Hong Kong, Korea, Philippines, etc......

There definitely is a fairly large presence on campus.

You wont get any federal aid if you arent a citizen. You might just be able to get a private scholarship, but even that would be tough. I know that most of the Latin Americans here are rich. However, I do know international people that arent exactly wealthy too...

Gru? Gott! Wo wohnen Sie in Deutschland?

South Korean that has lived in Korea 2 years, Bangladesh 3 years, Thailand 13 years.

My grandfather on my mother's side was a pastor operating his own church in a village in Korea, two of my uncles on my mother's side are pastors operating churches in Korea, some are the biggest in the district/region. My father was a youth pastor in Bangladesh for 3 years. My aunt's husband is the president of the Nazarene University of Korea. My aunts all have leadership positions in their churches. Our family are part of the Nazarene Church but I go to an Evangelical church in Bangkok...its pretty scary how religious my extended family is when I sometimes forget to pray everyday, but nevertheless I'm a very strong prodestant.

Hope I can get in,

BTW did anybody get an email about sending our full addresses and phone numbers to the admissions office, not automated and I think it was onyl sent to internationals
