My son applied Early Action and was accepted to Purdue FYE. At the time of his application the admission office told him he is eligible for merit scholarship as he is graduating from US high school in H4 visa. However, he didn’t receive any merit scholarship yet. his stats are the following : Unweighted GPA 3.97, SAT 1550, 3 subject test (>790), 8 Aps (3 in the senior year) all 5’s. Average EC (with varsity sports). I know it’s extremely difficult for international students to get merit scholarship at Purdue. However, I would like to know if there is any international student admitted to FYE at Purdue who received merit scholarship.
