So m wondering y cudn't i be deffered? and if people who applied for financial aid (international) got in?

Does not asking for financial aid really boost your chance by that much?

I'm a canadian transfer hopeful so I'd really like to know.

yeah i got admission plus aid.

ye i got aid too

likoo and honeydee, did your admission email offered financial aid? or you get it from mail?

notification by email, then details on the online account provided.

Stanford didn't mention it in my email. But I check my online account today and it's there. I got financial aid!! great.

I got aid too, family make about 12K a year. They gave me 50K scholarship, and 2500 student contribution. My parents don't have to pay anything at all.

Congratulations demoplayer! Quick question, how much did you write that you'd be able/willing to pay in the application? I wrote 10,000 even though our families make about the same income.

Where are you from btw?

demoplayer, i got $54k in addition to my parent contribution of $800. the difference between yours and mine is probably due to the estimated financial need difference of transportation and international tax allowance in your country and mine.

undisclosed, family income less than 60,000 would be treated as 0 income, which means you'll get full scholarship (need-based) minus your parent contribution if admitted. good luck. in my case, my parent filled 800.

So you contribute what you stated? dammit. We stated 10,000$ on the assumption that they wouldnt consider an international (canadian) if they couldnt contribute that.

So yay bank loan if i get in. Oy. :(

demoplayer

Did they also give you work study?

Besides the student contribution, my son was also given $2,500 work study.
