<p>The admission counselor said they r sending the decisions by march 15th for internationals, but any chance of coming out earlier?? how do u guys think??</p>
<p>i’m an international applicant and still waiting. isn’t it supposed to be march 1st?</p>
<p>That is ridiculous, they accept maybe 300 international freshmen per year and they need extra two weeks to select such small group.</p>

<p>so i was just randomly checking my UT direct, and i clicked on “Apply for Housing Online” (link: <a href=“Sign in with your UT EID - Stale Request”>Sign in with your UT EID - Stale Request) i haven’t been accepted yet, so i thought i might not be able to access the page. but turns out i can! i can even fill out the forms and whatnot. does this mean i’m accepted? or is the link clickable for any applicants?</p>
<p>i’m not trying to get my hopes up, just a bit curious :)</p>

<p>I found this on U of T site under applying for housing</p>
<p>"Once your MyStatus page indicates that your application for admission is complete, submit your UT Austin housing application. Contract offers and assignments are completed based on the original application date to housing. You do not need to be admitted to apply for housing. Completion of the application does not guarantee housing. "</p>
<p>aah okay, that clears things up. thankyou archkuro! still bummed that i might still have to wait until mid-april to know my application’s decision though</p>

Yeah I know exactly how you feel. I think we only have to wait till mid march 
I also thought that housing meant something at first. Hope you get in!

<p>I applied for economics. Im very glad you knew what i was referencing to…otherwise i would have sounded really crazy lol. Yes! the new season (especially ep1) has been amazing so far! I also cant wait for march 30 (for DW) …so much waiting… but its nice to know so many other internationals are also waiting! (for UT)</p>

Im not really sure either. I heard people say March 1st (cos UT admissions says that it will release ALL decisions) and March 15 (i just heard ppl say it on CC). i guess we will find out which today :)</p>

<p>i saw this disappointing message on UT’s website just now. I guess we all should quit anticipating our decisions until we see the email from UT</p>
<p>@CArbington lots of applicants have not yet gotten the email from UT, but they have received a decision through MyStatus. I guess we have to wait until mid-March.</p>
<p>Quick question. When you guys check ur mystatus, does it say in bold ‘attention’ then ‘your file is still in review’ or just ‘your file is still in review’ on top of the page? My one used to be the latter until i checked today (i finally got the ‘attention’ thing). Is this just U of T changing format? TY in advance!</p>

<p>Mine also says ‘Attention’ in bold, followed by ‘Your file is in review’. Underneath that it says ‘We’re currently reviewing your application for admission. Once a decision has been made the decision will be posted on this site. You will receive an email when your admission decision has been posted to this website.’</p>
<p>It’s been like that for the past month.</p>

Thank you! I have a friend who also had ‘attention’ in bold for a long time. I just find it weird how my one used to have this very small ‘your file is in review’, but recently changed to bold ‘attention’ thing. I think im being over-anxious…I just really want to see my decision…T ^ T gl with ur app!</p>
<p>I asked admissions about the decisions and they sent me this. Hope this calms everyone. </p>
<p>“U.S. citizen and permanent resident freshmen decisions were released last weekend. Decisions for international freshmen will be released on approximately March 15, 2013 and decisions will be posted to the MyStatus website. You will receive an email notification at the time the decisions are released.”</p>
