Any Ivy schools possible?

I am currently a high school junior at a top public high school in NE Ohio. I’m curious as to whether or not I might have even a small chance at any schools such as Cornell or Brown.

Stats:
ACT: 32 composite (will retake)
GPA: 3.9 (school doesn’t do unweighted, so this is weighted)
School does not do class rank
5 on AP US test 10th grade
Will do SAT 2 French and Lit

Classwork
9th grade- attended a small private school that does not offer honors courses for freshmen

EC
CYWS, a top honors band in my area, since 10th grade
French club officer
GSA, will be president senior year
Marching band, 2 year letterman, hopefully section leader next year
Volunteered at an organic farm this past summer
Worked at Mcdonalds this past summer
Chinese Honors Society
French Honors Society (hopefully officer)
Solo and ensemble state contest, superior rating all 3 years
Superior rating at science fair 10th grade
My family is international and I’m bilingual (fluent in Flemish) and working on a third (French)
I have volunteered for some Dutch/Belgian cultural events in my area
2nd place in the nation for national French exam
Hope to do some kind of SSP program this summer, as well as volunteering

I’ve known my French teacher for a few years, so I’m hoping for a good recommendation from her. I’m also going to ask my AP English teacher for a recommendation since I love the class.

I am a white male if that helps. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

Your GPA looks a little low, besides that the rest of your application looks like it would have a chance at Cornell, albeit not a very strong one.
Can you calculate your unweighted GPA yourself? Also study hard for the ACT as its your chance to show colleges that you’re academically strong even if your GPA is low

@outlooker‌ yes I think my unweighted gpa would be around a 3.6 at the end of this year. I had a rough transition freshman year, but I’ve managed to keep a strong upward trend. Thanks for the response!

You are close, but the more germane exercise you must address is which Ivy? Vast differences in all these institutions – figure that out, improve your ACT, and ECs and then put out a flier. I know that sounds blunt, but these schools are hyper aware of your own knowledge of their institution.

@boolaHI‌ thanks! I’m most interested in Cornell, as that’s the only one I feel I have a chance at. Of course I love Harvard, but I know there’s no chance for that.
I’m going to try to improve my act as much as possible, but what should I do in terms of ECs? I’m worried my gpa is just too low to hope for anything, but ill try my best!

If you can develop any nexus between your EC and specific programs that you are interested in at Cornell–that would be very persuasive.
