<p>my sis went to JHU for BME... VERY VERY competitive... once you get there, you should expect no help whatsoever from your classmates.. and don't bother going to the library - all the pages in the books are ripped out by students who don't want other students to know information... she had a rough 4 years, but i guess it was worthwhile since she's in med school now.</p>

<p>you cant meet him at 4 colleges, you can go to only one college every 4 years :D</p>
<p>xmaspoop: That part about students tearing up pages from books is disgusting. That'll make the environment not only competitive in the ordinary sense, but at times impossible to compete with others.
puhlease...some current student tell us that the scene isn't really as bad...</p>

<p>well like i said, my sister was a BME major... ppl who did things like int'l relations had an easier time. but pre-med is tough to be in, because everyone thinks that being a pre-med out of jhu will get u into med school easier... and everyone's just so competitive. my other sister is at brown, and she seems to be having an easier time.</p>
<p>I think the story of pages being torn off is higly exaggerated, it happened a couple of years back and has been blown way oout of proportion. Just makea new thread in the JHU forum and see how other current students respond.</p>
