For me, personally, March 9 won't ever have the same meaning again. So no matter what happens, good or bad tomorrow, we still have to post on this board!! Tomorrow is the big day, and everyone has something to say!! Good luck to you all!!!

As parents, there is some anxious anticipation as well. After all the scouring of school websites and literature, driving around to interviews and SSAT test sites (sometimes far away), and watching your child spend much of Christmas vacation and beyond drafting essays, etc., you really want to see them succeed!

Everyone here has worked so hard to achieve a dream - even when most of your classmates are enjoying a different 8th/9th/10th grade experience. Most of my daughter's 8th grade classmates have already chosen their classes for next year (public HS). It must be hard (though also exciting) to feel so up in the air (she spent most of yesterday watching movies).

Good luck to everyone, applicants and parents!!

thanks snowedin! that was a sweet post and nailed it on how everyone on this board is feeling.

Its tough just sitting here knowing that theres nothing else you can do and that the descision has already been made!

Luckily for me, I have a science project that I'm working on, so I'm dividing my time between CC and my science project, instead of sitting around worrying about tomorrow.

haha im on spring break...

grrrrrrrrrr

rightwing41: too bad you are on Spriong Break and have all the time in the world to worry! Couldn't you find something productive to do to take your mind off tomorrow?

I just finished testing (I hate NY) So I have four days of nothing to do. Including Monday. I've spent this entire break (including test time) worrying about this. As opposed to 4 weeks ago, when I completely forgot I applied anywhere.

Anyway, Best of luck for everyone!

sheesh, you guts go od spring break in winter?

I'm a freshman and we dont need to take ANY standardized tests besides one ERB in November :)

Bomchicawowwow.

hahahahaha
I love those commercials crickett!

I think everyone feels about the same. I just want to say something. I hope that all of you get into the schools that you wanted to attend, but for those that get rejected, please try to think that everything happens for a reason. When I was rejected from choate last year because of no FA, I practically stayed in my room for 3 days straight. Then thanks to being rejected from Choate, I found a school that I liked even better, Exeter, and if I'm admitted I'm going on a full ride (unlike Choate.) So you see? Everything happens for a reason.

Hopefully that'll bring some peace of mind to people, knowing that whatever happens tomorrow, it's for the best. Thinking of this has made me more calm about tomorrow, and I hope it helps with some people's nerves today. Good luck everyone, I wish you all the best tomorrow!!!!!!!!!

That's actually a really good idea Jasmyn! I think we might end up using the "Countdown to March 10th" thread by Saer, but yeah. It would be fun!
