Hi all,

I am an Australian who graduated from uni a year back, I studied a double degree in mechanical engineering and finance in university, attaining 2nd upper honours for engineering with gpa of 6/7 for both degrees..

I also read and passed the level 1 CFA exams

I have just completed my GMAT at 720 Q47 V42

I have always dreamed of going to UK (it is a very nice city) and have heard that LSE is in a good location (London). Hence amongst other reasons, I hope to read a Masters in Finance in UK.

I have a question though, I am concerned about my GMAT results, the UK website for LSE states that GMAT is important where quant is not demonstrated by undergrad studies, I was not sure whether I fulfilled that criteria, so I took the GMAT. I believe that I did poorly in the Math section of the GMAT and am confident I will be able to do better ard Q49...so bringing my GMAT score to about 740-750.

My questions in this case, should I retake the GMAT? Will it make a difference in my case? Will CFA matter? Any advice or views on how to improve my application would be appreciated, I am really not sure about my chances and it is a horrible feeling, believe you me :(

Thanks!
