<p>anyone know what majors UCI ranks high for? economics? computer science? engineering?</p>
<p>Interestingly, even though it is ranked #40 out of all National Universities the only distinction is:</p>
<p>Engineering program rank: 49</p>
<p>This is coming from U.S. News. I am not sure if this is because the university is kind of new, or if that #40 national ranking is some freak rating... but I would think it would place in other programs if it was #40 overall.</p>
