<p>i was a comm major hoping to transfer to ucla...but now i realized how competitive is so i want to switch majors...but there's nothing else im interested in. comm is really my passion.</p>

<p>Media Studies would be more appropriate than Rhetoric.</p>
<p>The Comm program at UCLA involves a lot of Sociology and Psychology courses. If you KNOW that you really want to get into a media/entertainment related field, I would apply to other schools. Comm at UCSB/UCSD and Media Studies at Berkeley. I can guarantee that you won’t get into the program at UCLA with a 3.6. I wouldn’t even bother. If you are dead-set on UCLA, I would do Sociology or Psych and try to do as many internships in the entertainment business as humanly possible.</p>
<p>Then what the heck is Rhetoric?</p>
