Any martial artists?

Are there any CC martial artists? What styles do you guys practice, what is your school, how do you train?

I am a third degree black belt in Taekwondo. I've been doing it for about 10 years. I workout at Sullivan's Taekwondo Institute in Kerman, CA. I used to work heavily on patterns and the formalities and structure of Taekwondo, especially when I was a colored belt, but after black belt I became more interested in sport Taekwondo. Now I usually train by either doing loads of sparring drills or by running. I usually go to class once or twice a week but since we really don't have any advanced class, I pretty much have to do my own training.

I'm currently a first-degree (will be 2nd in spring)
I go to kil's tkd in michigan, and we do han mu kwan specifically
I go to class like 4-5 times a week, and I love sparring. Patterns/forms used to be my favorite, but now i just love working out there, and by far sparring is my passion. I also do lots of abs, kicks in general, pushups, etc. I also referee.

i have about 12 years...I have done BJJ, Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido, and Muay Thai. I am currently doing a Cantonese style of Kung Fu (Hung Fut). I have done MMA, boxing, wrestling, kickboxing, and pointsparring...basically anything sparring.

i would not recommend boxing to anyone...it is perhaps the most taxing on your body. Muay Thai is intense (conditioning is very difficult), but I find muay thai and BJJ to be most useful in real fights..

Oh, my schools have been kims karate (TKD), team trident, Tae Yim Kung Fu, and more.

Not me said the chicken, not me said the duck, and they both band togther and started to f***. That's what I always think about when I take a test.

Anyone here do Capoeira Angola?

Originally Taekwondo (2nd degree black belt) and hapkido, but moved onto BJJ and other MMA styles. Trying to pick up some Muay Thai. I agree with trancestorm, BJJ and mt are the most useful. To be honest, i find taekwondo to be of little help except for control of movements and speed. Anybody do wing chun?

"Anyone here do Capoeira Angola?"

No.

capoeira angola- don't do it, but seen it before.

not a black belt yet =(
