Alright I'm terrible at math always have been except for a few subjects within math courses. Anybody have any good tips for the SAT math? Everybody on here seems to think its so easy. How come I think its difficult. Every question is asked in a weird way where they make you have to think about what they are truly asking. Its such an odd test. Any tips?

CHECK YOUR WORK.

Reread the question, and get your answer again!

Make sure your answer makes sense.

If it says find the quotient, find the quotient, not the sum.

I walked out of the test, thinking I got an 800. I was VERY suprised to discover my 690.

If you are in Algebra II or above, I KNOW that you can get an 800.

Trust me, you can do it. Just give them what the question is asking.

It’s a reasoning test, so obviously the questions are written in a way that requires you to use math to reason.

Try not to look at math as a bunch of formulas and worded-in-a-specific-way questions you have to chug through. Try to get comprehension out of it. Display some interest.
