How do some of you even get 800 on math?

Seriously.. The SAT is like a frickin IQ test with weird questions. Like when I see math questions on the sat, it takes me like 10 minutes to figure it out while it takes other people like a glance at the problem and they can already figure it out. Seriously? I am so ****ed off about this sometimes. Am I the only Asian who's frickin bad at math? It's embarrassing. I can only get a 610 at the highest. Help??

Have a nice day

It’s not embarrassing! Some people are good at math, others are better at critical reading, dancing, or sports etc.
Try solving several questions (the more the better) every day. It may not get you a perfect score, but you’ll certainly improve.

what is your current score ?

See what kind of questions give you difficulties and study them more. Once you collect all the rules that are tested, you start anticipating what rule is required to solve the problem. Practice, practice, practice. Then review attentively!

A 610 isn’t bad mine is 730 i want a perfect on my next SAT. my CR and Writing are horrible so don’t worry too much about it. Everyone has different strengths and weaknesses. What math classes have you taken?

I agree with michaellax28, some people are good at math, others are good at reading or writing, other may be good at something else. For example, I scored 800 on SAT math but my reading and writing scores are fairly low.

True, SAT math is more or less an IQ or reading test. Sometimes, half the problem involves figuring out what the questions are saying before actually solving them. After enough practice, you will improve.
