How's the math load? I'm in my first year at a community college and I want to know what kind of math should I take. Any further courses I should take please tell me!!

FYI: I'm from New York and I understand that penn state is an expensive university for out of state students. I don't like any of the SUNY a schools just only one which is university at Buffalo.

I’m also a prospective meteorology student. From what I’ve read, the math goes up to differential equations, and it’s recommended for first year students to have at least made it through pre-calculus. However, since you’re at a CC, you should at least make it through Calc I, maybe even Calc II if possible. Other than that, it would be beneficial if you could get gen eds, Chemistry, and Physics out of the way while you’re in CC.

Thank you, I’m planning on taking calculus 3 and differential equation and maybe linear Algebra in my community college. When are you planning on attending PSU?

@NASA2014: Starting in fall 2015. I’m a high school senior.

I want to major in Meteorology at Penn State as well!! Great GPA and tremendous extracurriculars but low SAT scores. I’m taking the exam again and I will have my new scores (which are unknown at this point) available to me soon, but do I have a good chance of getting accepted? I applied for the summer session.
