<p>I started looking into other merit scholarships a bit late, and after scouring through a number of sites, I couldn't find any scholarships still with a live deadline. I don't have any financial need whatsoever, and I'm just looking to get some merit scholarships to help my parents pay for college next year (it's a recession, man!). The ones I'm currently waiting on are National Merit, Byrd, and Lowes (all of which were brought to me...it wasn't on my own initiative.) I'm not a minority and I got a 2400. Any help is appreciated.</p>

<p>Yeah, but the majority of ones left are essay based. If you want those, I’d get on it.</p>
