Any New Acceptances - RD?

I think Ren the SAT'er meant weighted. "almost 4.0 W"?

yes, UW probably would give her like a 3.8ish. she was ranked like 10/290~ a pretty typical applicant to umich~
i have similar stats, but alot higher SAT and SAT2 scores, but i doubt i'll get in. lol....

I haven't heard yet. Everything was received on December 9th, 2008. I guess, I'll just have to wait.

Why do internationals have to wait so much longer? Do they have to?
Not implying that it's unfair, which it is, lol... Just looking for a rational reason.

Everything was in by Dec 3rd and still no reply..

I sent mine in late december and they didn't receive it until january. Admission recieved about a week ago.

To GregoryHouse, I too am an international. Sent mine in mid december (after the time you sent yours) and I've received my admission just a week ago.
Have they comfirmed receipt of all your materials and it might also depend on the major you're applying to?

toeva, what major did you apply to? I applied for CoE on Dec. 23rd and haven't heard anything yet...

Does anyone know where I can find my decision on the Wolverine Access page, "New & Prospective Student Ctr"?
I am very confused and hoping to clarify.
Under the Admission[s] section, I see "Application Status". When I click that, it takes me to a new page where I see 'Admit Term' / FA 2009 (Under Admit Term) and other information as well as 'Application Date' / 01/29/2009 (Under Application Date).

Does this mean I am admitted to UMICH? I have no recollection of receiving an email of being admited though.
Thank you very much.
P.S. Please ask me for any information needed!

--Edit
I also applied on Jan 31st, 2008.
These are my materials.

Justin, once a decision has been made on your application, you will see a "View Decision" link. It will appear on the "Application Status" page, I believe. You will click on that and view your decision there. It will be some time before they reach a decision on your application. Hope that helps.

So since no one got anything last week. Looks like this week! Wednesday night woot woot!

Thank you so much sabaray.
I hope I find out soon. :D

At dyd, I also applied to the college of engineering.

hockey, what makes you say that?? I had all of my materials in on 12/23 so I'm hoping for a decision this week... that'd be awesome. This waiting period is just so brutal.

Hey toeva, I applied to CoE too, everything in Dec9, International, no response yet.

Sigh.

Maybe it's to do with stellar stats...what are yours like?

Got 2020 in SAT I,
770-math1, 790-math2, 680-phy,
108- toefl
Did quite a number of extra curricular activities. My essays were ok, quite good(at least to me sha)
That's basically it.

Do they update the status' every Wednesday night?
Or does anyone know when the next 'decision round' will be?
Thank you!

Mine's 2210 SAT 1
730 Math2 800 Phy
IB 38/45
Everything else decent..
I hope something works out for me :S

This year's it's mostly been going Wednesday at 12 or thursday night at 12 every two weeks. And there was an acceptance round 2 weeks ago so it's this week, most likely. There were a couple weeks in Nov. where it got a little funky.

And U of M is really backed up. Not surprised its taking a long time.

anybody know if there is any correlation between how long you wait and your decision? because it seems like some people only waited a month or less who had similar stats to those who applied all the way in december

anything new, anyone?
