I read on another thread that WSU likely will wait till February this year mom4bwayboymom4bwayboy

@MTheaterMom - S is current junior at Wright State. Historically, WSU sent out rolling acceptances - in a larger number than they actually expected to commit to the freshman class. When S auditioned there in November of senior year he and the other early auditionees were notified of acceptance/rejection before winter break. The following year almost every student accepted in the rolling notification decided to attend (MTmom2015’s S is in that class) and they ended up with a much larger than expected class, which made scheduling and supporting a bit difficult. Last year (this year’s freshmen), for the first time, they held off all acceptances until all the auditions were over in February. It sounds like this will be the new norm for WSU.
Thanks!
those who got callbacks to viterbo did you submit videos after the callback?
D just got an email from Montclair it is a no. This is the one where the guy said you had to apply to get the answer. I feel like asking for my application fee money back.
Excited to say that my D got notified of acceptance to the MT BFA at Ohio Northern in the mail today!
@KelviVan Congrats!! Our D was accepted as well!
@KelviVan hooray!!! Such a great present
Congratulations guys! I regret that my d didn’t audition at Ohio Northern. What a huge relief to know this early.
I would love to track when and how everyone was notified of acceptance for each Moonified school. Can you help fill in the blanks? We might not be able to fill it all in right now, but it would let everyone know where to check or what to expect, now and in the future.

Ugh this was in reply to @preppytheatre on Viterbo
Congratulations to all those accepted to Ohio Northern! I am a current student and would be happy to answer any questions you may have!
D received an acceptance letter today from UArts MT! Both she and I are so excited and relieved to have an early acceptance!

Happy New Year Everyone! Cannot wait to see where our kiddos end up.
@DrowsyChaperone for the benefit of “future generations,” here’s another perspective on summer programs from our Carnegie audition last week. A parent asked how current students attended CMU summer pre-college. The answer was 1-2 members of each current CMU class. So, while I’m a huge proponent of attending those, at least at Carnegie it may not give you a “leg up.”
FYI, TX State let us know quickly(Nov. 28) after Moonifieds that D would not be called back. We were grateful for the early notification. We heard a yes from Rider same way others here did, which D also confirmed with an email to Robin.
Honestly, I’m surprised it’s that many, @freddieggirl. My D did the CMU summer program, but with no expectation that it would help her get admitted there, just that it would help her (1) decide whether a BFA program was for her; and (2) start to prepare for college auditions. And I think it served both purposes well.
