Any news?

SOMEBODY please answer the question!

And to someone who received admission and invitation to interview: is there something under your events tab? Thanks for letting the rest of us know!

No, just Meet USC and Campus Walking Tour

Did you have to have your app in by a certain deadline or complete early decision? I’m confused as to what this is lol.

No to the midyear report or no to any new events?

IRT to the question about mid-year grades… I assume that it’s there for everyone, because on the “Application Status” tab, they say to submit your mid-year grades on USConnect, but there wasn’t a link to it there before.

^^^ App needed to be in by Dec. 1 to be considered for scholarships.

Clarification:
The Mid-year grade report is under Admission section, not under Events section.

So nickneland, please confirm again if you see the mid-year grade report link under Admission or not? Thanks …

I am still confused… do the kids who got scholarships have that under their admissions bar?

*No to the midyear report or no to any new events? *

No to any new events. I have the midyear report tab.

Has anyone from NorCal gotten anything yet?

thank god… there’s still hope

nickneland, thanks so much for clearing this up! It appears that all statuses appear the same right now–whether the applicant has received a trustee invitation or not. ALL ask for midyear report. NONE have the extra box under Events to RSVP for ExploreUSC.

Seems the admissions office really has their secret hats on this year.

nickneland: Thanks for the clarification, and I’d like to add my congratulations! Way to go. Fight on!

Madbean: thanks for restating it so clearly, as you usually do!

Those of us on the east coast and points in between here and the west still waiting: good luck! We should all know in the next few days. As someone (alamemom, madbean, childish?) posted on another thread, last year it took up to 8 days for mail to reach everyone!)

@sheilachian, I am in NorCal and have not gotten anything.

hmm…so does that mean people who live in SoCal i.e. San Diego, OC and do not receive any mail from USC today are out of the running? I’m asking because it seems mail has reached SoCal and I haven’t gotten anything :(

im in the same boat as zomggg^ im from about 2 hours away from USC and i didnt get anything either… im literally heart broken

Hey guys I got it too (trustee, Marshall - business administration). Also in LA County. Very excited.

Comes in a nice 3-demensional folder with a very nice looking certificate of admission.

Look on my threads started to see my chance thread if you want

I’m from San Diego; my neighbor got a letter today, but I didn’t. I’m really surprised. Maybe I find out later because I applied to the engineering school?

No, don’t assume anything yet! Last year D got mail in NorCal the day after the first reports in SoCal, but her friend who lives less than 5 miles away got hers 3 or 4 days after that! USPS is pretty reliable, but sometimes things take longer than you’d think.
