Any of you apply for an NROTC scholarship to BC? Heard anything yet? Thanks.

Hey, I applied for an NROTC scholarship w/ BC as my #1 choice. Wow, I never thought I would talk to someone who's done this too. Anyways, I haven't heard anything yet, and the status on the NROTC website says that my application is still waiting a decision. I am SO confused about what I would do if I did receive the scholarship. I really want to go to Boston College and full tuition is very nice especially now that I have some idea of how much my family would have to pay considering what other posters have said about their EFCs. Unfortunately, I've heard a lot about how ROTC and graduate school (law school, medical school) don't mesh well together. So yeah, what's your situation?? It's nice hearin' from someone kinda in the same situation as me so make sure you respond and good luck w/ everything!!!

Hi Rovee,
Same here...waiting to hear a decision...my first choice is USNA but ROTC at BC is number two...good luck to you. I'm not worrying about graduate school at this point so this will work for me.

Bossf51, I just found out today that I've been awarded a 4 year NROTC scholarship to BC (well, the NROTC unit at Boston University, but you know). Have you heard anything yet?

Congratulations! I haven't heard yet. Based on your previous posts, you have a lot of options. When do you have to give NROTC a decision? Good luck on whatever you do.
