Any of you guys doing a summer project? Or have any summer goals?

Well I have a few (well, me and my brother)
Next year is High School, so this is our last time to do something before we succumb to the work of high school

1) Create an app company, we have a splendid idea for an app, we pay a guy to make it (we can trust the website) then start to monetize it (get us some $$$ to fund bigger projects)

2) (Me,) start doing an online APUSH course, and hopefully another AP Class online that will be worth it in the long run

Wow. All I’m doing is working full time and trying to finish my textbooks/start classes early. I’m also studying for the SATs. So yeah…

I’m planning on making an exoskeleton.

I’ll let you guys know how that goes. :)

@PolyglotGal‌ “All I’m doing” that sounds like a lot! Good luck

Have fun @capitalamerica‌

Wow, are you only in middle school then? Your summer already sounds WAY more productive than most high school students. Good luck! I want to build an app too, but I think my coding knowledge is way too limited. Haha

Ugh, I really thought I could take online classes but the GC secretary knew nothing of it! She was like “I do not think that is possible in any way for any school…”
Instead I will stick to learning Latin while reading Socio-Economic books :l

@student197‌ Lol, me neither! We are hiring a freelancer by the end of the week (they will sign an NDA, non disclosure agreement, of course)

If you have any ideas I recommend doing the same! But we have already intensely planned ours to give them an idea on what to code

Good luck!

Training to tryout for track to save my terrible EC

Good luck!!!

I’m taking an online course on Astronomy, working on moving our school’s paper to a digital platform, conducting an investigative project on the psychology of learning, reading about 20 books, then the usual stuff like studying for SATs and doing summer AP work.

Well good luck with that. By the way, what kind of app is it going to be? What is it going to be on? (For example, Apple, etc.) How much are you paying the guy and how much will you earn in the process? One misstep and you will end up losing money instead of earning money.

Sorry I am answering so late, have not been on in a little while,
It will START on iOS, in a growing sector that we want to be apart of

It depends on how it picks up, but our business model includes getting it into very popular places.
