Go to the usps website and send an imaginary package priority mail from princeton (08544) to your hometown. That should give you an idea of how long it will take.

mail came and went today in georgia... nothing from pton...

humph. well, over and out I am assuming. :(

Well I think technically speaking, Priority Mail usually takes 2-3 days and since Sunday isn't a business day, Monday would be the third day to receive Priority Mail packaging that was sent on 31st, assuming Princeton sent out their letters on Thursday afternoon.

okey-dokey... April 2 - nothing from Princeton. I am officially giving up hope.

eh, it still might come on monday

nah... I used the method suggested by LordOfTheSocks on the USPS site and my suspicious were confirmed. A priority package from Princeton should have been here today. A rejection letter sent regular mail is what might be here monday :-)

yeah makes sense... the funny thing is that I got an acceptance packet by priority from Cornell..... I didn't apply...

So for a fraction of a second I thought that I got into Princeton by some cruel April Fool's joke:p

Did you really? Wow, that's odd.

I live in Michigan but am in Florida until Sunday evening, so I have no idea on the mail situation. Good luck to all!

I wonder what would happen if you tried to enroll...:p

hmmm.... that certainly is strange

Weird. I had a similar experience when I went to get my mail, I saw a nice big fat envelope and got excited before I saw that it was from Claremont McKenna. I also got a letter saying I was "pre-approved" for acceptance at a local community college. Yipee.

You might want to call the Cornell admissions office, some poor applicant might be missing their acceptance.

I remember that when I got my tulane acceptance I also got another applicants acceptance

Good call... and damn. 2 days. Guess that seals the deal...

Although I sent an extra letter of rec to Princeton priority mail and it took 5 days to get there, at least that's when it was certified. I live in Washington State btw.

Just got home from Florida and nothing has arrived. But for ED... I believe both acceptances (fat) and deferrals/rejections (thin) took three days to arrive where I live in Michigan. So, stay hopeful, you guys!

you're sure that that stuff was priority mailed?

It's ok. As of Saturday, I know some Pennsylvanian people have not received mail from Princeton, and, well, New Jersey and Pennsylvania are right next to each other...but yes, acceptance packages were sent priority mail. I'm staring at the priority mail sticker right now.

You live in NJ, right? When did you get your stuff?

Did anyone in Kentucky hear?

You're not transparent at all. ;)

Oh, I went on a large RL binge this weekend to make myself feel better about Princeton - it seems like your kind of method of dealing with things, so I thought I'd share.
