I've been offered to attend a few schools so far, and am waiting to hear back from a couple more. I've been offered a fairly sizable scholarship to Washington and Jefferson college, and am not sure whether I should take it. My grades are pretty good, and I think I have a solid chance at getting into my top two choices at Lehigh and Colgate University. Has anyone visited/attended Washington and Jefferson college and formed any opinions on the school? I'm very curious because while I do have a limited budget, I'd like to attend a University that will take me far, while I can still enjoy the American college experience.

What do you think you’ll get from Lehigh or Colgate you would not at W&J? They are located near Pittsburgh so there should be good opportunity for internships, etc.

Well, if your budget is limited, will you be able to afford the other schools? If not, then why would there still be a question? How would you pay?

Have you used any of the schools’ NPC to find out if you’d qualify for any aid?

Lol she’s so condescending isn’t she ^

She quotes you and then sarcastically answers your question

mom2collegekids is asking what sound to me like good, reasonable questions.

Just a thought to consider… My daughter is a sophomore at W and J and LOVES it there!!! She too received a presidential Scholarship worth 18K a year and it HELPS!!! She is an accounting major. As a parent I know she’s thrived in this small school atmosphere and there are a lot of benefits to a small college. Go visit and see what yo think if you haven’t done so. Good luck in the decision!
