Any other college freshmen already burned out already?

Knowing myself, I have to go to college. I'm someone who has high standards in life and I also feel like I just owe it to my mother for all the hard work she's done for me, but honestly I'm not enjoying the experience at all. I feel tossed into a world where I'm suddenly expected to know everything as an adult since I turned 18, yet I'm rarely taken seriously or given the full benefits of one. I like the freedom of college, but it's a huge adjustment to the impersonal lecture class style and heavy work load.

Like, I'm already ready to graduate. lol. Anyone feeling similar?

I was in your shoes at one point. I dipped, took a year (or two, or three) off. Refreshed and rejuvenated myself, traveled a bit, went overseas, had a great time. Lets face it, you’ve been workin’ hard to get into college and have been going through school for most of your life. Maybe you need a little change. You could stick it through and the tough time will pass, but sometimes it just takes so long for that to happen that it seems like it won’t be going away anytime soon. It does though, and you might thank yourself later for holding on.
