<p>Well mine is a little complicated,am an international and had earlier applied for spring 2009 before deciding later on that fall would be better off,so i contacted the U and they accepted to update my app to fall this year,that was sometime in december.last i heard from them was in january telling me they required to verify my national examinations results otherwise they would not be able to make an admission decision without that..i had those results sent and was told that now my application was complete and had been forwarded to the admissions committee for review.i haven't heard anything from the U since then,my status check hasn't really changed from 'we have received new material from you and we are currently reviewing your application to see if its complete' and i haven't got any email from them either.last i had such an experience i got rejected,so you can understand where am coming from.this suspense is killing me.earlier i was so confident that i was getting in but now am not really sure...i have the right to panic now,don't i?i don't want to call and ask coz maybe its something i don't wanna hear or i may just create the image of an impatient person..so,are there any internationals on this same boat awaiting a decision this late?and is it always the case?do they take this long?
Also.am just curious is this U id the same as those numbers that they ask you to input at some documents?coz i got mine earlier when i received the U email ID and i dunno.just curious..</p>

<p>This is relieving! :) I am an international too, applied for Fall '09 and still haven't received an admission decision, or any indication of such a thing. Anyone know when the U of M's admission decision is?</p>

<p>Wow..i didn't ever think for a sec. how nerve wrecking this waiting game could get...trying some distractions like catching up on TV and movies(by the way,does the U allow bittorrent on campus?)....i dont know if this link will work for you but here is the updated FAQ on fall '09 decisions,april 15th for those who had their apps complete after dec 15th and six weeks after date of submission for those who had theirs complete after march 1st..

<p>I emailed the admissions people (asking them about some other thing), and they told me they should have my decision in by next week. So yes, crossing everything. All the best to those still waiting.</p>
<p>finally after being rejected everywhere.‘’…Congratulations! you have been admitted to the college of liberal arts.Your official letter was mailed on April 4th 2009…''that is today :),i was and still am so freakin excited(no wonder people want to have sex with these moments lol)…i emailed them on friday last week for something regarding status check and they refused to reply,so i figured the silence was coz i had been rejected already(thinking about it now,that email was really panicky and paranoid lol,but still the silence wasn’t fair,its like they were playing mind games lol),as a matter of fact i quickly applied to the U of Tulsa and the U of st.louis missouri after 48hrs passed.I was so sure that I was not getting in and was now thinking of taking the SATs which i didn’t have and as much as i hated the idea i thought they were part of my undoing…anyways am just glad its finally over and best of luck to those still waiting…</p>
