Hey I have no idea what applicant pool Im in. Im a US citizen But have lived in Latin America all my Life... in Guatemala (if anyone asks me if that is an island ill cry) and Ecuador (thats not an island either!).... I have good grades, ok SATs, and lots of passports... anyone else?

If you've got an American passport/citizenship, you'd be probably put under American status concerning financial aid, which makes you a very lucky person.

As for admission, it's hard to label because I'm unsure whether you would've had the whole bunch of EC opportunities available to those in the US. Going on broad generalization, I would say you wouldn't have. I guess you'd still be under domestic umbrella, but they'll take into consideration your high school profile and experience livin' overseas.

your pool will depend on which school you go to.

humm... interesting... i wonder if thats good or bad... its not like it makes much difference now... apps are out and dandy!

what? gautemala's not an island?!

(survivor: guatemala)

I'm in the opposite situation. I'm a Swedish citizen on an A-1 visa living in the United States. I've no idea what applicant pool I'll be in when I apply to college next... this year. (I can't believe it's so soon! )

No Guate. is not an island... its a small country under mexico... and dont ever mix us up with mexicans!! Surviovor was filmed in the peten region of Guatemala, it is an area covered almost entirely in tropical rainforest. Its is in the more isolated part of the country... the urban area is nothing like what was depicted on the show!! I live in Antigua Guatemala... its geautiful... google it and knock yourself out! besos!

Doh, how stupid do you think us be?
We know Guatemala's not an island. We know it exists in a fantasy world occupoed by dinosaurs and emus and dodos and mxtures of all the above.

Id be surprised... last year a we invited a soccer team from this rich ass prep kid highschool in pennsylvania to play soccer with us... they were astonished by the fact that we had celphones, roads, and (my favorite) light skined people... after that..its not hard tobelieve that you would think its an island
