I was so impressed with Northeastern's, but I'm worried I won't be able to afford that school. Are there any other colleges with similar programs?

RIT, Drexel

Unfortunately those schools are also private, expensive schools. University of Cincinnati originated coop and is a state school. It is almost never mentioned on CC though.

You do not have to attend a “co-op school” like Northeastern, Drexel or RIT to have a co-op. I study engineering at the University of Pittsburgh (a state school) which has a non-mandatory co-op program. My friends and I landed co-ops all around the country with help from the Pitt co-op office sending out resumes to companies and hosting Co-op fairs with on-campus interviews. At least 60% of Pitt engineers co-op, and chemistry and computer science majors can as well.
