Thanks!
Sure. To find out which 2 you score highest on. Now if the question were: Is there any point in sending more than 2 subject tests, the answer might be different.
No! There’s no point in taking more than 2 SAT Subject tests, unless you are unhappy with the scores from the tests you currently have.
@hungryhippo12345: Admissions is not a meritocracy. Students with the best test scores and transcripts oftentimes get rejected. So what gives? Well, at a certain point, test scores DO NOT MATTER. Let me repeat that – test scores matter, but at a certain point they don’t matter. My guess is once an applicant scores 2250+ on their SAT, or the ACT equivalent and scores a 720+ on each of their Sat Subject tests, scores no longer become the deciding factor in a student’s acceptance, as the scores indicate that you can handle the work load on a college’s campus. The deciding factor them becomes “soft” subject factors, such as teacher recommendations, guidance counselor report, essays, and interview report. So, if your test scores are within the framework I listed above, there is absolutely no need to take more than two subject tests, as more does not equate with better chances.
Please watch these two videos – one from the College Board and one from Stanford – and you’ll understand what colleges are looking for. Everything in these videos applies to HYPM as well.
