Any Queen's students/applicants here?

Dunno if this is the right place to ask this, but I’m wondering if you guys could estimate what my chance are of getting into Queen’s (the Psychology program, specifically)? I’m in grade 11, so I wouldn’t be applying until next year…

I have dual Canadian-American citizenship, but I live in Michigan (USA).

My cumulative GPA is a 3.83 (on the 4.0 scale).

I’m taking three AP courses this year (AP literature and composition, AP U.S. History, and AP psychology), and around that amount next year (AP biology, some sort of AP english, AP macroeconomics/government, possibly AP statistics).

I got a 31 on the ACT - English 35, Math 25, Reading 33, Science 30, Writing 9/12.

I’m taking four to six community college courses next year, all in the Psychology department.

I’m not sure I can answer your question derynn exactly but my sense is you will get in. They only provide information on the ‘minimum’ standards, which seldom seems to be enough, but given you seem to be quite a bit above the objective one’s stated- e.g. ACT of 26, strength of curriculum, I think your odds are very good.

We have very similar stats Derynn, I’m positive that you will get in.

I’ve gotten into the science honors program back in february, but i am still pending for the commerce program…what do yall think the chance of me getting in?? i have a 86 average, 29 ACT

Due to the scarcity of info on this forum I will ask this question on this thread (sorry for a partial steal OP).

Is the science honors program good at queens? Is it difficult to get into and is it valuable for graduate work? THANKS GUYS. You’re all awesome.

I was told (by a prof) that the term “honours program” just meant the same as a regular program; and yes, it is still valuable for grad work.
