Is the Math 10 series harder than the Math 20 series? I’m a science major, and I was just wondering which math series I should take.

If I rush report my AP scores from 2009 on July 1st, should they get to UCSD by July 15th? I figure the 2010 AP scores won’t make it but is there a way to make sure at least my 2009 scores get sent in before that deadline and then send in the 2010 scores after if anything? I hear that they send all scores at once, so I don’t want my 2009 scores to be compromised due to my 2010 scores holding them up even if I rush report.

What science? If you’re biology, take the 10 series and I think all the other sciences require the 20 series.

Sorry to post again but allow me to rephrase my question a bit. AP scores are sent together when requested. But if I call on July 1 and rush deliver them, will they send my 2009 scores or will they try and wait so they can send them at the same time with my 2010 scores? Because if they wait to send them with the 2010 scores, the 2009 scores likely won’t make the July 15 deadline since 2010 scores won’t be sent until July 15th and received by approx. July 22nd, if my understanding is correct. If anyone could help me out, I’d greatly appreciate it.

I don’t understand how UCSD wants the AP scores by the 15th if this year’s aren’t even received until the 22nd

@orangeicecream- 10 series is easier than 20 series.

Alright, thanks! I’m a biochem/cell bio major, so I’ll take the 10 series.

Another question, when will the scores of the AP exams we took this year be posted on Tritonlink?

@Spacedog: CollegeBoard has your AP scores by July 1st, because that’s when you can call them and find out your score by phone. The large delay between when they have the scores and when they mail them to you is because of the time it takes to mail out all the scores. Starting on July 1st you can call them to send a score report to a college, which they say should be done within a week.

Thank you for the response If I rush report them I hope they get there faster lol

What size are the beds in the dorms or apartments? Want to know what size sheets to get.

Twin extra long^ most places carry this size.
I bought queen sheets because i knew i would never use TwinXL sheets again. They were fine too, I just tucked them under.

Quick question: Do the dorms have desks, chairs, and book shelves already there? What furniture is not supplied already? For Revelle specifically.

What random things would you recomend bringing to UCSD besides clothes, school supplies, personal hygiene items, etc?

Do you know anyone who has switched into an impacted major?Particularly in the MAE department?

I’ve talked to a few people in there and they say that by the end of their Freshman year 25-50% the students drop out, and if you have a good GPA, 3.7+, switching shouldn’t be a problem. Do you agree?

Spacedog-when you took your AP test in May didn’t you mark to have them sent to UCSD? That’s what my son did and his are already received.

No I left UCSD off lol Don’t ask me why it was a poor decision heheh But I ended up rush reporting them on the 1st so I think they’ll get there in time :D

hmm my ap scores arrived, senior and soph years, but my junior year aps didn’t show up…

okay my question is is usc’s acceptance competitiveness about the same as sd or greater/smaller? I know they’re close but is one actually considered the more competitive one? (just wondering…about some things i’ve been hearing)

I don’t have the statistics on me right now but I’m leaning towards saying the USC’s more competitive to get into with a lower acceptance rate than UCSD. Both are very comparable across a few majors of course but I think you could say it’d be somewhat harder to get in to USC. I’m not 100% sure though, sorry.
