any good? reviews, etc?

I read Ender's Game in 8th grade, didn't like it at all. An entire book about a little kid fighting battles? Spare me.

My mom just finished Kite Runner, and she liked it a lot. She said it had like "bittersweet" humor.

Read both.

Both good in my opinion.

Ender's game is more of a science fiction/fantasy book that appeals alot and keeps your entertained. Kite Runner touches more upon your emotions...

I love Ender's Game, it's definitely up there in the top three (for me). Ender's Shadow was really good too, perhaps better than Ender's Game.

Kite Runner...is a sad book. But still a great one.

Both great, in my opinion.

I loved Kiterunner. It's sad but good.

i absolutely looooooooved enders game. a lottt.

I read Ender's Game a long time ago, so I don't remember a lot about it except that I really liked it. It more than just another sci-fi book.

Read Kite Runner just a couple of weeks ago, and it's left quite a deep impression. It's well-written and well worth your time.

I loved Ender's game along with the whole series of related books. Very very well written. Appeals to a lot of people.

And If you guys loved ender's game you should also love the Pendragon series. Pendragon is my favorite series ever. My favorite 2 series of books right now are these two. So if you haven't read them... Read em

I haven't read Ender's Game, but I read Kite Runner about a year ago and really liked it.

Like everyone said above, both are good books. Completely different, but good in their own ways.

I LOVE ender's game, even though i normally hate science fiction, this is the only sciece fiction that i enjoy reading

I read Ender's Game in the 9th grade. It was unlike anything I've ever read before (sci-fci stuff doesn't exactly appeal to me) but to my surprise, I ended up enjoying it for the most part. The life lessons in there are pretty deep. haha.

I read Kite Runner "for fun" this summer, and let's just say that I now have a favorite book. Easy reading, yet great plot.

i love enders game.

ender's sequels aren't as good as bean's sequels, but they are both great

i've never read kite runner

Kite runnder: Fabulous book. Both my son, who read it when he was 17, and I loved it.

Kite Runner is a very, very, very good book. I heard the author is coming out with something new this spring or something, anybody heard anything? I can't believe the guy was a first time author. Ender's game was also really good.

Anyone ever read The Namesake? It has a similiar theme in regards to The Kite Runner?

I read the Namesake. It was good, but not as good as Kite Runner in my opinion.

I'm not usually into Sci-Fi, but I really enjoyed Ender's Game.

I read Enders game in the 8th grade and event though I generally dislike sci-fi I really liked this book and would definately recommend it

Kite Runner is not what it's hyped up to be. It could have been thought-provoking and full of pathos, but instead turned out to be a desperate appeal to the emotion. The ostensibly singular events that occur in the book, particularly with respect to Hassan in the alleyway, and Hassan's son towards the end of the novel, were essentially pointless. Certainly they evoked the reader's attention and angst. Beyond that, though, they were gratuitous and failed to advance the plot. The book could have been set anywhere but in Afghanistan; the same story of human suffering could have nevertheless been told. Khaled Hosseini capitalized on the political atmosphere of the time Kite Runner was published. Don't be deceived by the NYT book review, or similarly-minded PC readers. The book is not the prestigious contemporary novel they make it out to be.

i generally don't read sci fi but in the end of 10th grade i read enders game and really enjoyed reading it. i thought it was very interesting
