D got admitted to McCombs today. No word about BHP. OOS, applied 11/30

@pcrg167 was your D an auto-admit? Would you mind sharing her stats?

No, she is out of state. Stats are 3%/2250/33. Best wishes

@pcrg167 thanks for posting. Congrats to your daughter!

S got McCombs just now. Applied a little past the early decision deadline due to sports, so maybe late October.

Did your kiddo have an interview for BHP? That is usually the next step.

@lizardly do you mind sharing your stats? SAT CR +M, ACT, GPA, etc. in-state auto admit?

No interview yet.

In state auto admit. 1480 CR&M/1% (top few people in big school)/decent leadership/very strong essays. If he advances, I think it will be due to essays. He put his heart and soul into the UT ones and did a great job, but also had some fun with them. The questions asked allowed him to shine.

I was admitted-but I applied for priority.

I got into McCombs as well and have had my BHP interview, but my application was deferred. Any know what my chances of getting in are?

Has anyone who had their interview in Jan heard back from BHP?
My son has a BHP interview scheduled for later this week. From the mail we received, it sounds like they do not interview all applicants but a select portion of applicants are interviewed. I have a couple of questions:
- Being selected for an interview for BHP – is that a good sign ( as I would think that not being selected would mean that they are not considering the applicant for BHP).
- If anyone has had an interview with a BHP Alumni – what type of questions/ information they are interested in knowing about the applicant ? or What is the theme of the interview?
Any advise from a BHP hopeful applicant or admitted BHP student would be very much appreciated. Thanks
