Does anyone have any recommendations for summer programs (camps or courses, etc) in the Southeast/East for high school students? I have seen that some universities offer things and that seems like a great idea....suggestions?

Interested in sciences, languages, humanities, etc.

wis75, Not sure if you realize it or not, but schools on the east coast often don’t finish until mid-June, so there are probably more programs still open now.

Thank you…great suggestions…I will look into them and I have it on my calendar to start looking MUCH earlier for next yr too. I look forward to seeing more ideas. :-)

There may still be time to apply for the Summer College for High School Students at University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi. [Summer College For High School Students - The University of Mississippi](Summer College for High School Students | Ole Miss) My son has enrolled because they offered full scholarships for students with high test scores and GPAs. I’m not completely sure what to expect but the campus is lovely and the courses are for college credit. I am cautiously optimistic. My son chose to take introductory courses in computer science and logic.

I know that UConn’s Exploring Engineering program is still accepting applications. Deadline is April 15th. My DS went last summer (we just sent in his deposit today to hold his place for the fall) and my D15 is applying for this summer. Very reasonably priced, too.
