I did really like Mt Holyoke (never thought id consider all girls) but it was physically one of the nicest campuses Ive ever seen and the girls seemed well more...normal that expected. However, I visited Wesleyan and it just wasnt my cup of tea.Half of my highschool class will probably apply to BC..I'm just not that into it.
Ill definitely consider Con college though, I hadnt really before.
Thanks

Did I miss it, or did you not post your GPA? Cause your SATs are good enough to go for some reaches, like the top ten LACS-Middlebury, Bowdoin, Haverford, etc .

Well my school does GPAs really weird..theyre going back to the 4.0 system for the year behind us but I'm still stuck with this funky one thats out of 18 or 20.
Anyways, freshman and sophomore year I got A's and B's. Junior year all A's.

The reason I'm not looking at Middlebury kinda places is I dont have very strong extracurriculars..I mean I play a ton of tennis, I've been doing art since middle school and put alot of time into that, work 14 hrs a week during school year, but I have very minimal community service and have never been involved in student council etc.

I'm flattered you think I could look at Middlebury though ha

Tennis is important, and so is art. Its more impressive to do one or two things really well over a long time, then to have a lot of random stuff, padding that doesn't reflect excellence or passion. BTW- Midd. and Bowdoin are div 3 schools. Could you possibly be a tennis team recruit?

Though Dartmouth isn't an LAC and has a slightly larger enrollment (about 4k undergrads), you might like it. I know you said you liked arts- The Hood Museum is pretty awesome. Dartmouth is also on a quarter system, which is kind of similar to trimesters. I hear the government and political science majors are pretty good too.

However, you might need some better EC's to get in, which you seem to recognize.

I wouldn't really worry about location in that sense. When you're on campus, it's not really going to be a big deal what part of the U.S. you're actually in.

Thats true...but at the same time there is a HUGE difference between being the people at say...Washington and Lee vs. Macalester.
And, having to fly to and from school, with several plane changes, just isnt appealing to me. A direct flight would be ok, but otherwise idk.
