Hey i’m a junior and i’ve been pretty intrigued by Brown lately and would like to apply there next year. Everything about my transcript is pretty solid except my GPA (which is pretty much the most important thing). I’m pretty sure that everything else will be pretty good (2400 SAT, 800 on IIC and Lit SATII, great reccs and a ridiculously good essay) and my EC’s are relatively solid. Basically freshman year i was pretty carefree and ended up having a B+/A- ish average, and sophomore year i ended up doing even worse, thus giving me a 3.5 weighted average (i can’t even imagine how horrible it is unweighted). However junior year i’ve been doing much much better (A’s and A+'s) and hopefully i should be able to balance it out to 3.9 or so weighted (probably about 3.5 unweighted). Assuming i achieve all of that, could I possibly have even a tiny chance of getting into Brown or should i consider other options?

I'm sure you'd still stand a good chance. As long as you keep your grades up as planned, it'd show a rising trend, and of course, a 2400 and a few 800s will help.
