2 mile - forgot
1 mile - 5:26
800- 2:24

Just average I would guess. I really don't like how people who are varsity and all crazy fast don't really take any hard classes. They sleep at 10. I on the other hand need to run each day, come back later than regular people, and do my homework tired. I sleep at around 2 each day. Then wake up 6:30. 4 and a half hours of sleep isn't enough for a runner. I think I have potential except I am just too tired. If anyone has some tips on how to manage this please reply.

3 mile : 18:56
1 mile : 5:56

1600m 5:40

working on bringing these down for college, especially the mile
by the way, Ladros, I'm a varsity runner on my team and I have adequate time to take the hardest of classes... I guess it's all about maintaining a really disciplined routine, like as soon as I return from practice, around 5, I eat dinner. then I go online, fool around for a good hour or so, get that out of my system and proceed to hw, then shower, then finish hw, and im in bed no later than 10:30.
good luck everyone

Ladros:
I have finally found somebody who has the same problem as me. I am taking all AP/honors classes. last year, my coach told me that if i keep practicing, i will make it to state. i don't know how to manage my time either. during the season, i used to come home at 5:30 or so, eat dinner, then immediately start my homework. i work dillegently and try to avoid distractions. it is really hard, but i guess possible. but recently, i have been telling myself, what is the use? i am not running in college and stuff, maybe intermurals (spelling :( ) but then again, i love running and want to be great for my last year in high school. so...

S- junior- 4:24 1600- 16:05 5K

How did I miss this thread?!?
I only post on running threads in these forums, MomofWildChild can vouch for that ;-)

All times F.A.T., handtimes are much faster, obviously.

50y: 5.5h (senior year)
55m - 6.89 (senior year, should have been in the 6.7 range but I tore my hamstring this winter)
100m - 11.36 (junior year)
200m - 22.9rs/23.18 indoors this past winter, only ran it once at an invitational/23.31 outdoors last year, just to show what type of shape I'm in. I absolutely hate the 200, but I bet that's gonna be my main event in college. National qualifying was 22.92. . .if I got to run it again I bet I would've hit it.
300m - 37.2h
400m - 52.5s (I don't go that far open)
Long Jump - 20'3.5" (junior year)
Triple Jump - 39'10.5" (junior year, I suck at it, I know)

Running 300h this year for the first time and looking for the state title, everyone in Massachusetts is gone from last year, including three of my teammates that were top 12 at the all-state (one of them was a 2-time New England champion). I'm gonna try to continue the tradition.

EDIT: I just read through this thread and it's littered with inconsistencies.

I don't know where you found your world records, but:

400 m 44.63 Michael Johnson USA Atlanta, GA 3/4/95
800 m 1:42.67 Wilson Kipketer DEN Paris (FRA) 3/9/97

Can't find the 1600 record, but here's the mile

1 mi. 3:48.45 Hicham El Guerrouj MOR Gent (BEL) 2/12/97

The 400m world record is not 44.63. . .it's 43.18, Michael Johnson, 1996. The indoor 400m WAS 44.69 until Kerron Clement, a sophomore at Florida, destroyed it at NCAAs last week. I can't wait to run against him if I end up at Wake Forest.
The 800m world record is 1:41.11, it's Wilson Kipketer's, also.
Hicham El Guerrouj does have the mile world record, but in 3:43. . .5 seconds faster than what you posted.

Alan Webb was the fourth miler to ever break 4:00 in high school.
Jim Ryun (3:55), Tim Danielson (3:58), and Marty Liquori (3:57) were the others.

Prospect --> I'm confused about your relays, 3:47 for the 4x400 and "about 43" for the 4x100? My 4x4 team was 3rd in New England last year in 3:24.01, but our 4x1. . .which had guys of PRs of 10.95, 11.31, 11.36, and 11.45 "only" ran 44.5.

Double post because I can't edit the above post.

Speak of the devil, Kerron Clement announced he's going pro earlier today and going to focus primarily on the 400h. Guess I won't be racing him next year.
