Any Science Olympiad members?

Missouri had their state competition the 14th and two private schools made it to nationals (Pembroke and Ladue).

Are their any other science olympiad members out their?

i’m one too. This is my first year. We’re going to the states. (we’re in CT)

^ LOL!

mmm i did this todayy
did chem lab, disease detectives, cellular bio, health science

dunno placements yettt

i licked your mom at a sterile id event.

apparently she isnt.

I am and we’re going to nationals :)

lol if mn state division C sends 2 high schools to nationals.

duke and I might both go!

but once again. my high school sucks *ss.

I’m in Astronomy, Forensics, and Expiremental Design. This is my 2nd year, and last year I did Write it Do it instead of expiremental design.

Yup, made it to states, I did Chem Lab (23rd), Disease Detectives (9th), Write it Do it (36th), Forensics (15th), and Health Science (3rd). No nationals for me, my whole science olympiad team had 4 people.

Had it for middle school. Unfortunately, not high school. It was only there for my eighth grade so I only got if for one year. Did Disease Detectives and got sixth.

Yup, my events are usually Health Science, Cell Bio and Dynamic Planet. (I epically fail at Disease Detectives). My team qualified for nationals.

Augusta or Busta. Chea!

Lmao. My school will pwn yours ANYDAY.

I’m going to be next year. Me and another friend are going to be starting it up at our school. I hear it’s so much fun, anyone have any suggestions on preparing or making sure what to do?

So anyone here actually going to Nationals?

^In Cali we haven’t even had state yet! Haha, it’s on the 18th (April). This is my first year as well. I’m competing in Elevated Bridge, Dynamic Planet, and Disease Detectives. Any other CC-Science Olympians from SoCal?

no nationals for my team. D:

all i know is that i got 3rd health sci, 3rd cell bio, and 3rd egg-o-naut. i think only like 11ish teams competed; i’m not sure how mine did overall but we didn’t place. not surprised – the most prep anyone put into an event was studying the night before, whereas some of the schools in our area (MD) are fairly hardcore about it.

i did this!
disease detectives, forensics, and some trial one.

wow. just… wow.

we’re going to nats
long trip…all the way from metro atlanta :
I got 1st in astro (8th gold in that event :D), 1st in dynamic, 2nd in cells at state

i did it too! but only in 8th and 9th grade.
awesome aquifers, don’t bug me, disease detectives, water quality, sound of music and oceanography. those were the times, go 2007 Wichita! (lol. so long ago!)

Um, made it to states, but we totally failed there. (SoCal)

4th in LA regionals, if that counts for anything. xD

What sucks about California is that it’s divided into SoCal and NorCal, and each can only send 1 team. Like in SoCal, I feel that both Troy and North Hollywood are both deserving to go to Nats.

But Mira Loma is amazing. So they get to go to Nationals, haha. Besides, NoHo hasn’t beaten us in anything in a while.
