Any shot at Emory?

<p>I really think I would love Emory.</p>

<p>It's academic, southern, has frats, good music scene, and is a very reputable school.</p>

<p>I come from a top 10 HS in FL, and have a 3.76W GPA (the low side), and a 2070 as of right now (hope to bring that up to at least a 2100), Varsity Lax, various ECs, etc.</p>

<p>My GPA has a steady increase and I will have taken 5 APs by the time I graduate- my courses this year are ;Astronomy Honors, AP Stat, Economics/Gov Honors, Philosophy Honors, AP Psych, AP Lit.</p>

<p>You definitely have a shot. Apply ED if you know for a fact you’ll go if you get in.</p>

<p>It’s basically all I want in a school. Great city, Great Academics, Great Reputation, Great Music Scene, etc, etc. Only worry would be the girls!</p>

<p>What I’m looking for is a more liberal and academic version of SMU (where my sister went, this is where I get the whole southern fun idea).</p>
