<p>Hey, I'm applying ED to Emory! Yay! I attend one of the most competitive public schools in the country, the number one public school in my state (in the northeast).</p>
<p>GPA: uw 3.4/4...I know it's weak but my schools is extremely difficult and this is over average for my school.
SAT: 1320/1600, 2030/2400</p>
<p>Senior year courses:
-AP Literature and Composition
-AP European History
-AP Calculus AB
-AP Environmental Science
-Advanced Journalism
-Independent Study in Government</p>
<p>Main ECS (each one is a significant part of my life, and are not small, insignifiant ecs, hence why there are not as many as many others have):
-Medical Response Technician (MRT) for my town, and training to become an EMT
-Junior State of America - Founder/President
-Newspaper - News Editor of award-winning nationally-recognized high school paper
-Reaching Out - tutor children
-Varsity Cheerleading - 9 and 10 grades
-Chairman of the Childrens Committee at a science museum freshman year (only allowed to hold office one year)</p>
<p>Summer Programs:
-AP Government - Junior State of America Summer School at a top university
-International Relations and American Politics and Political Affairs programs at a top university
-SpaceCamp for 5 summers (Yes, I admit, I'm a nerd)</p>
<p>Essays: Amazing, I am extremely proud of them.
